Bridal shoot with Olwen Bourke

I have recently had the pleasure of meeting the very talented, bespoke dress designer, Olwen Bourke. She has launched her new bridal collection and we where just too happy to offer some of our lovely LAWA heels for her latest photo shoot. I am so excited to share a few of the shots here with you!

Our pretty platform Anoush was just perfectly pared with theses stunning dresses. I am a big fan of the scalloped edge leather jacket below. It is modern but feminine and sits back perfectly with our Anoush heels. I love how it echoes our scalloped edge detail perfectly.

I also love the simple elegance of this minimal drape, of the shoulder dress. It is just stunning. For more info on the made to order bridal dresses, contact Olwen Bourke and for more info on our bridal collection, please follow this link.

Our Anoush is a two part peep toe sandal with delicate scalloped edge finish. It is made from white kid suede. It fastens with sued ties into a large bow at the front of the foot. It has a 110mm high heel & an elegant 35mm platform, covered in shimmering silver suede.

The sock & lining is soft kid leather and as all of our shoes it has an embossed natural leather outsole. Each pair of our shoes are individually numbered on a little metal banner on the outsole. We make 150 pairs per style & colour.

The Vintage Wedding Gala Shoot

I am really looking forward to next Saturday, 22nd of March. We will be showing our shoes at the Vintage Wedding Gala at the glamorous Guildhall, Northampton. Make sure to join us for a one stop shop for creative, selective, boutique brides. It runs for one day only, so be there when the doors open, 12 - 4pm. For more info please visit the facebook page here.

The organisers of the show recently had a fabulous photo shoot at Kilworth House Hotel. We joined some of the other exhibiters in offering our bespoke bridal bits and I think you'll agree the results are beautiful.

Our Carmen & Scarlet heels looked stunning paired up with these beautiful dresses, amaizing venue and lovely models. If you love the look of our vintage inspired, glittery heels, take a look at our online shop here.

Exhibitors that got involved include Through The Looking Glass Events, Fairytale Weddings, Love Art Wear Art, Klaire Van Elton Bridal Adornments, Hobbits Vintage Creations & Murals and Tara Florence Photography. You can meet all of these suppliers and many more on March 22nd and see the pics in the next wedding special edition of Image magazine!

The Vintage Village at The Wedding Fair at Bluewater

We had a fabulous time at The Wedding Fair at Bluewater this weekend. Its was lovely to meet so many new brides with their moms, girlfriends and partners! There was a ton of ideas and loads of wedding inspiration available and our little Vintage Village was a busy & beautiful area.

I am also listening to customers feedback and requests and due to popular demand I will definitely work on some new kitten/mid high ideas for the next season! Shoes aside, it was great to get to know all the other lovely and very talented vintage inspired bridal suppliers. What a great weekend of amazing bridal inspiration and delicious cake!

Our Inessa is perfect for a winter wedding!

This month its all about our fabulous Inessa Bridal ankle bootie. The January issue of You & Your Wedding features Inessa in a stunning, minimal 60's shoot and we think it looks great in black & white! This little shoe boot offers something very unique and you can wear them again and again. The wedding shoe that keeps on giving...

It's not just You and Your wedding thats fallen in Love with Inessa. Brides Magazine is also featuring us in the January issue. This time with much more dramatic combinations and styling. It combines our classic vintage inspired shoot with a hint of neon and voluminous dress. There is something 80's and very cool about this shoot. But its not for the faint of heart, definitely for the bride who wants to make a statement!

Inessa is available for sale in our online store, just click here for further details. http://bit.ly/1c1hhAX

Thank you! Our Kickstarter is successfully funded!

Those of you that follow us on Facebook or Twitter will know that we launched a Kickstarter / crowd funding project earlier this month. In order to get the minimum orders together to kick start our AW13 production, we reached out to family, friends & supporters of fashion and independent design out there.

We have had a fantastic time and above and beyond reaching our goal  we have also reached out and connected with so many more like minded folk and new Love Art Wear Art supporters. It has been amazing and I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that supported our kickstarter project. Thanks for all the likes, retweets, posted messages, pledges and general awesomeness! We got there in the end! You guys are amazing! Now we need to just get your shoes made!
