LAWA Real Weddings - Nicola & Ros

Nicola and Ros Gibson tied the knot on the the 28th March 2014. The setting was Cripps Stone Barn in the Costwolds. This lovely country wedding offered some beautiful & dramatic scenery as backdrop for their stunning photos.

A taster of next seasons new styles!

We have just received the first photos of our new season samples. I can't wait to go over to the factory next week to tweak & fit these beauties. I thought you might like to see some of the lovely new styles that we are working on. I have already fallen in love with them!

We've had a lot of requests for lower heel styles this past season, so this time round we are introducing some kitten heels. Brides that are after pure comfort but still need that touch of LAWA magic needs to look no further. The pretty Karis & Neave will be just perfect...

If a elegant dance shoe takes your fancy then the brand new Bella is looking LOVELY! Let me know what you think. I would also love to hear which colours you might be interested in. LAWA Real Weddings - Sonia & Mark

We've been creating our gorgeous bridal shoes for just over a year now. I am very excited that we can finally start looking back at some of the amazing weddings over the past season that Love Art Wear Art played a tiny role in! We would like to share a few snapshots of our lovely brides, their grooms & their wedding days. It is so nice to see all the detailed plans come together on the day. For me it's very special when someone chooses our shoes to finish of their outfit. So its with pride and joy that we share these lovely moments with you.

The first couple to introduce is Sonia and Mark. They where married in October 2013 in Glasgow's Newlands South Church. The reception was held at the city spa hotel Blythswood Square.

Bridal shoot with Olwen Bourke

I have recently had the pleasure of meeting the very talented, bespoke dress designer, Olwen Bourke. She has launched her new bridal collection and we where just too happy to offer some of our lovely LAWA heels for her latest photo shoot. I am so excited to share a few of the shots here with you! 

Our pretty platform Anoush was just perfectly pared with theses stunning dresses. I am a big fan of the scalloped edge leather jacket below. It is modern but feminine and sits back perfectly with our Anoush heels. I love how it echoes our scalloped edge detail perfectly.

Our Anoush is a two part peep toe sandal with delicate scalloped edge finish. It is made from white kid suede. It fastens with sued ties into a large bow at the front of the foot. It has a 110mm high heel & an elegant 35mm platform, covered in shimmering silver suede.

The sock & lining is soft kid leather and as all of our shoes it has an embossed natural leather outsole. Each pair of our shoes are individually numbered on a little metal banner on the outsole. We make 150 pairs per style & colour.

On the 11th of May we will be at the Vintage Wedding Fayre in the York Hall, Bethnal Green. It promise to be a fun day full of vintage bridal inspiration and crafty ideas for your wedding & reception.

The Vintage Wedding Gala Shoot

I am really looking forward to next Saturday, 22nd of March. We will be showing our shoes at the Vintage Wedding Gala at the glamorous Guildhall, Northampton. Make sure to join us for a one stop shop for creative, selective, boutique brides. It runs for one day only, so be there when the doors open, 12 - 4pm. The organisers of the show recently had a fabulous photo shoot at Kilworth House Hotel. We joined some of the other exhibiters in offering our bespoke bridal bits and I think you'll agree the results are beautiful.
